Services for older persons to maintain independence at home

mha was formed in 1999 to provde aged and community services across our local government area.

We are governed by a Board of Management, with representation from the local hospitals, shire and community members. We have over 80 direct community care workers, a team of 650 volunteers and office staff of 13.

mha is a non-profit organisation and are partly funded by the Department of Human Services, Department of Veterans Affairs and Moira Shire on the Murray.

What mha do

• Provide in home and group services for people with a disability and frail aged members of the community who choose to live in their own homes.
• Encourage independence and participation in the community
• Information and referral service
• Case Management for Community aged Care Packages
• Deliver Home and Community Care (HACC) services to the residents of Moira Shire
