Social Interaction
Planned Activity Groups offer a structured program of centre based activites and outings. They include transport to and from the group as well as morning tea and lunch and all activities. Qualified staff and volunteers run this program.
Drop ins or home visiting can be arranged in your home at agreed times during the week. This might entail having a cup of tea and a chat or ensuring medication is taken at appropriate times and in correct doses.

- Outings, music, discussion, quizzes and games, craft, meals exercise
Respite Care
- Provides carers with time away from their caring responsibilities.
- Opportunity for the client to have a break, or an outing, without their normal carer.
- Can be provided on a one to one basis in the clients home, or in another setting, either individually or in a group.
Home Services
- Aims to maintain a safe, secure home environment
- Lawn mowing, tree pruning, cleaning windows, gutters and spouting.
- Minor work tasks such as installation of ramps, grab rails, smoke alarms or other minor household repairs that do not require the skills of a licensed trade person.
- Essential household cleaning of areas regularly used.
- Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, mopping and vacuuming, dusting and changing bed linen, washing, drying and doing essential ironing.
- Meal preparation, shopping, small errands and pay bills as required.
Home Care involves cleaning of regularly used areas of your home. Eg. dusting, vaccuuming, mopping, cleaning bathrooms and essential ironing. We consult with you about what you are able to manage on your own and where we can assist.
Home and Garden Maintenance offers gardening services such as lawn mowing, weeding, rubbish removal, tree pruning etc. We can also organise basic household repairs such as installation and maintenance of smoke alarms, shower rails and ramps.
Community Aged Care Packages
This service offers coordinated packages of community care services to assist people with complex care needs to continue to live in their own home. The package and the services included are tailored to each client.
The Aged Care Assessment Service will assist to determine if you are eligible for a package.
Meal Options
Delivered Meals are a nutritional, cost effective way of ensuring you maintain a healthy balanced diet. The meals on wheels are prepared at the local hospitals and delivered by volunteers.
Frozen meals are delivered fortnightly to rural areas.
Meals can also be prepared in your own home by a care worker. The worker can also assist with completing the shopping.
Personal Care Options
Personal hygiene assistance is available and is undertaken by trained care workers. This may be assistance with showering, grooming and dressing.
Transitioning to and from bed and an evening 'tuck in' can also be arranged.
Specific errands can be run, such as shopping for groceries and paying bills etc.
- Assistance with bathing, showering, sponging, dressing and undressing, shaving, hair care and grooming.
- May involve assistance with mobility and transition to and from bed.
